Carlos Amunátegui Perelló

Carlos Amunátegui Perelló has a PhD in Patrimonial Law from the Pompeu Fabra University, and is a tenured professor at the Faculty of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has been a visiting professor at Osaka and Columbia universities, has published more than one hundred and fifty scientific articles in various high-impact scientific journals and seven monographs on Roman and civil law, legal theory and new technologies. He recently directed the first Dogmatic Historical Commentary on Book IV of the Civil Code of Chile (Valencia, 2023). He participated in the design of the constitutional reform that introduced Neurorights to the Chilean Constitution and the corresponding law.

Bio Carlos Amunátegui Perelló es doctor en Derecho patrimonial por la Universidad Pompeu Fabra, profesor titular de la Facultad de Derecho de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Ha sido profesor visitante en las universidades de Osaka y Columbia, ha publicado más de ciento cincuenta artículos científicos en diversas revistas de alto impacto científico y siete monografías sobre derecho romano, civil, teoría del Derecho y nuevas tecnologías. Recientemente ha dirigido el primer Comentario Histórico Dogmático al Libro IV del Código Civil de Chile (Valencia, 2023). Participó en el diseño de la reforma constitucional que introdujo los Neuroderechos a la Constitución de Chile y en la correspondiente ley
